History

Dr Golly studied at the University of Melbourne, and after returning from field work in Ethiopia, trained at The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH), where he was their Chief Resident Medical Officer in 2015.

He currently works in the Department of General Medicine at RCH, as well as consulting privately with Melbourne Paediatric Specialists (Cabrini Malvern and Parkville) and attending newborn deliveries across multiple sites.

Media Interest

Dr Golly has a strong interest in the media and its positive and negative effects on children’s health. He appears regularly on Channel Seven’s Good Friday Appeal and is also an expert reviewer for the Raising Children Network and EssentialBaby. He most recently appeared on the Mamamia Podcast Networks’ YEAR ONE.
